India’s Last hope comes to an end at the ongoing Japan Open as Men’s Single’s Player B Sai Praneeth lost in the Semifinals against world’s No.1 Kento Momota. Praneeth who earlier in the tournament gave an exceptional performance lost in the semis by 18-21,12-21 to Kento Momota. Praneeth who had Recorded an easy win over Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto by 21-12,21-15 to enter Semis.

The Indian Shuttler started his campaign with a great win against world’s no 11 players Japan’s Kento Nishimoto in Tokyo, defeated him by 21-17,21-13 in a match that lasted 42 minutes.

And tried to keep the same momentum by winning the second round against the local shuttler Kanta Tsuneyama and defeated him in 2 straight sets by 21-13, 21-16 the match lasted till 45 minutes. Later in the Quarterfinals dominated against Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto and won the match comfortably by 21-12, 21-15 the match that lasted 36 minutes.
