PV Sindhu crashes out of Japan Open in the Quarterfinals after suffering a heavy defeat in Friday 26th. Sindhu defeated by Japanese Shuttler Akane Yamaguchi with points of 18-21,15-21 in straight sets. Akane Yamaguchi played exceptional badminton and was brilliant throughout the match. Yamaguchi is 23 centimeters shorter than Sindhu but that also didn’t help Sindhu as the way Japanese shuttler was playing it’s looking like she is dominating the game.

Earlier Sindhu had reached the Quarterfinals after defeating Japanese Aya ohori by 11-21,21-10,21-13 in a 61 minutes match. Sindhu lost the recently held finals of Indonesia Open to Yamaguchi by 21-15,21-16.

On the other hand in Men’s Single’s B Sai Praneeth continues his exceptional performance and recorded a comfortable win against Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto to reach the semifinals. Praneeth dominated the match and won by 21-12,21-15 in a match that lasted 36 minutes.

B Sai Praneeth earlier in the second round won against the local shuttler Kanta Tsuneyama and defeated him in 2 straight sets by 21-13, 21-16 the match lasted till 45 minutes. He even started the campaign with a comfortable win against world’s no 11 players Japan’s Kento Nishimoto in Tokyo, defeated him by 21-17,21-13 in a match that lasted 42 minutes.

Praneeth will next face No.1 Kento Momota of Japan in Semifinals of Japan Open.
