PV Sindhu is likely to face second-seed Tai Tzu Ying in the quarter-finals while Saina Nehwal may face Chinese Chen Yu Fei at the last eight stage. PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal are in different halves and they will not face each other unless they reach the final of the World championship.
World Championships men’s singles, Kidmabi Srikanth is in the same quarter as compatriot Sameer Verma, B Sai Praneeth is set to come up against Indonesian Anthony Ginting.

Satwik Rankireddy – Chirag shetty could face Indonesian pair of Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in World Championships Quarters, while Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy could face Thom Gicquel and Ronan Labar in the opening round before a potential meeting with Chinese pair Han Cheng Kai and Zhou Hao Dong.
Ashwini Ponnappa – Sikki Reddy could play against Chang Ching Hui-Yang Ching Tun of Chinese Taipei in the opening round of women’s doubles and if wins could face a potential second-round against Chinese Due Yue and Li Yin Hui.
Pooja Dandu and Sanjana Santosh could face Chinese Taipei opposition in the first round in the form of Hsu Ya Ching and Hu Ling Fang in Women’s doubles. Another pair of Jakkampudi Meghana and Poorvisha Ram could face Diana Soto and Nikte Sotomayor of Guatemala in their opening round encounter.
In Mixed doubles pair of Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Sikki Reddy could face English pair of Ben Lane and Jessica Pugh in the opening round before a potential clash against Malaysia’s Tam Kian Meng and Lai Pei Jing.
Other Mixed doubles match the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Ashwini Ponnappa could face France’s Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue in the opener but a win could place them against the Wang Yi Lyu and Huang Dong Ping of China.
