PV Sindhu won the BWF World championship 2019 finals against Nozomi Okuhara of Japan. Indian Star shuttler PV Sindhu defeated Japanese Shuttler Nozomi Okuhara by 21-7,21-7 to win a gold medal in the World Championship 2019 on Sunday.

PV Sindhu had previously reached the World Championship finals 2 times in 2017, 2018 and won silver medals; she became the first Indian to win any Prestigious tournament. PV Sindhu showed some outstanding Performance in the finals, She took only 16 minutes to finish the first game of the match. On the other hand, Japanese Shuttler Nozomi Okuhara tried her best made a comeback but Sindhu outclassed her in every aspect of the Game. IN Second game also Sindhu continued her attacking and splendid performance claimed the game by 21-7. Sindhu took overall 38 minutes to seal the World Championship 2019 title.

The Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu created history with her win and leads the head to head battle against Nozomi Okuhara by 8-7. Previously the Indian Shuttler had defeated the Japanese shuttler in Indonesia Open 2019. She was Outstanding the whole match, she doesn’t give any chances to Nozomi. PV Sindhu consecutively scored eight points to make the finals a cakewalk.

PV Sindhu earlier in Quarterfinals defeated World No.1 Tai Tzu Ying and continued her brilliant performance in Semifinals and Finals. PV Sindhu Outclassed both Semifinal and Final matches and made both them one-sided. PV Sindhu is the only Indian Shuttler to win the gold medal in World Championship.
